Chrysocolla is found in a number of countries such as Congo, Peru, Chile and the USA. Wiki says…it is of secondary origin and forms in the presence of copper deposits. Associated minerals are Quartz, Limonite, Azurite, Malachite, and Cuprite and other secondary copper minerals. It is typically found as botryoidal rounded masses and crusts, or vein fillings.
